Yes, It is a condition to understand that to uphold the efficiency and integrity of the Barter/Trading Exchange community, under no circumstances can a member approach another member and ask for a cash component. This is strictly forbidden and is done to maintain the proper function of the trading program.
Why must a Transaction be Full Trade?
Ask yourself, how you would feel, if you sold services or products, and then when it the time came for purchasing an item by utilising your Trade Gate account, you were asked by the selling member they then asked for cash instead? Of course you would feel duped, and as such, this kind of behaviour is banned as it is extremely deceitful and very harmful to the whole community.

A direct exchange of goods is extremely useful instead of using cash and will satisfy mainly when two parties have an equal value via a direct barter(contra deal) swap, which then makes the deal quite successful. However, when the two values aren’t aligned, it can put a strain on the business relationship between the two-businesses swapping their products, particularly as disputes will most likely arise over the value and potentially the quality of goods or services not being seen as the same value. This is why a solid value must be agreed to from the onset.
To avoid any discrepancies, Trade Gate enables an account, which designates for the individual value to be recorded either for spending or selling within the member’s appropriate Trade Gate account. This leaves either way any surplus to be accounted for or sold or spent accordingly.
Trade Gate further helps manage these relationships to ensure all parties are adequately satisfied. We do this through our Account Managers who can help settle any disputes by providing support where necessary and to explain our very favourable parameters.
